Hello!  My name is Amy Murray. The 2009-2010 school year will be my 6th year teaching first grade.  I started teaching in Burleson in 2004 at Stribling Elementary and moved to Brock Elementary when we opened the school in 2008.  I have taught 1st grade for my whole teaching career.  I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2004 with my bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.   In 2004 I also married my husband, Kevin.  We currently live in Fort Worth and have started a vegetable garden in our back yard.  We love taking care of the plants and harvesting our own veggies.   I enjoy crafty activities such as crocheting and photography.  I also love music.  Rock and Roll is my all time favorite.  My favorite bands include The Monkees, The Rolling Stones and Big Brother and the Holding Company, among many others.  I also like folk and 80s music.   My Favorites Book The Wizard of Oz Giraffes Can't Dance Movies The Princess Bride The Goonies A Mighty Wind Music Rock 80s Folk Food Cheese Italian Sweet Tea Resturant Logan's Man, I LOVE LOGAN'S!!!!
