What is it?
1142006_115503_1.bmp
It is a 3-ring binder notebook, put together by the teacher, that houses EVERYTHING the students and parents need to keep up with what is going on at school. No more wrinkled papers in the bottom of bookbags. No more lost notes, newsletters or calendars. No more searching the house to find paper to write the teacher a note. Everything is in one notebook!

Why is it important to have? TT
This notebook helps students to establish good organizational skills their first year of school - skills that can carry on throughout their time in school.

Where do I get one?
The school is furnishing a binder for each child.
re are some pictures of a MOOSE book I put together...
In the notebook you will find:

Daily Behavior Report
This section will contain a daily behavior report.  Please discuss it with your child .
At the end of each week there will be a place for your signature.  Please don’t forget
to sign. This is a way of letting you know what kind of day we’ve had and to hopefully stop any behavior before it gets out of hand.

Monthly Calendar
Each month a calendar with important dates and reminders of  school and classroom events will be placed in the notebook.  This will serve as a communication between school and home.  Your child should show you his/her notebook every night.  Please read and discuss it with your child. In doing this your child is developing responsibility, and you are aware of what is
happening at school.

Papers and notes (Pocket )
This pocket will contain any notes from school (school district information, class notes from the teacher, school pictures, etc.)  Please check and remove papers from this pocket nightly.  Occasionally there may be homework or other papers  to return to school.  These should be returned in this pocket.     Any notes from home should be placed here.

Data Information
As the year progresses goals and data information pertaining to your child’s progress will be placed in this section.  This information will help you see what goals your child has set, what he/she plans to do to meet that goal, and  how he/she is progressing toward his/her goals.

My Sticker Page
This is a place for saving stickers given by teachers.
