About Mrs. Sullivan
Rayleen has been a public school educator since 1984. She began her career with Fort Worth ISD where she taught pre-kindergarten students for two years in a full day early childhood setting.
In 1986, she was hired by Venus ISD to teach first graders. For the eleven years she taught there, Rayleen held many positions. She taught first graders, developmental first grade, content mastery, pre-kindergartners and looped from first to second grade with a class. It was while teaching in Venus that Rayleen earned her master’s degree in early childhood education.
In 1997, she started teaching in the Burleson ISD where she is teaching today at Stribling Elementary! She has taught fourth grade math, general and special education pre-kindergarten, second grade (self-contained), fifth grade math, and general education kindergarten. Her endorsements in ESL, language/learning disabilities, English, and general education have aided her in successfully teaching children of many ages and ability levels.
